Is the server for norton antivirus definitions down?

You might want to be careful, some virii prevent you from accesssing antivirus update sites. If you think you have a virus, you might want to check if you can download the updates to a floppy on another computer (use a fresh disk to make sure you don't transmit the virus to the new computer) or you might try to download a tool to remove a particular virus if you know what virus you have.
