Sempron is just fine, cycle for cycle it compares well, but he pointed out that anyone buying a new pc might as well go A64

Pretty much called out a review site on erroneous data, and then recommended everyone go buy an A64 over a sempy, heh. When the new s754 90nm SS sempr0ns come out, though, they will be one HELL of a value for users on a big budget. S754 sempies are no slouch.

s462 sempron chips are pretty nice. I've built a few rigs based on them and I was pleased with their performance given the price. I've never used a s754 sempron so I can't speak about them yet.

Until they adjust the price and add some other models to the skt754 line, then I agree with those who say just go A64. Giving up 64bit to save $10-$20 is not a viable alternative. The sktA is basically just a t-bred B isn't it?
