I just drove one this morning. A 93 Turbo and it was a blast. Rear wheel drive, mid engined, 200 horsepower and very comfortable. Wonder why the ricers aren't all over these.

They are kind of rare, especially well maintained turbos. The 93 is really rare. The 93 has the safer suspension (does not toe out when hitting a bump midturn).

They're fun cars. I've had a 91 turbo for awhile.

Extremely rare to find in good shape. And when you do fine one in decent shape, the owner wants like 9k for it. :| And it has 150k miles on it. :|

They're also expensive to maintain and hard to work on. But yeah, they're fun as hell to drive :D

Yeah 93+ MR2s were for pussies... ;) :p

EDIT: I hold the 3S-GTE in high regard BTW.

Hehe. You must enjoy the "pucker" factor to like the 91-92 more. ;) I've hit way too many road irregularities mid-turn in my 91 to enjoy the edges of the performance envelope often. Heck, even with 1/16" rear toe in and polyurthane bushings, it's still hairy.
