There's a good possibility that they are the same... here's an article you may or may not have seen at powernotebooks.com that tells you about laptop name brands.

Thank you, I'm thinking of going with discountlaptops just because they are a little cheaper, but I like that powernotebooks has more pictures then just the one that discount has. Anyone else verify?

Sager does not make a model M 5:6, or anything close to said listed model number. May want to check here for available Sager models. All Sager models use Clevo an their ODM.

The Chembook 2056 appears to be manufactured by Compal; thus, any Sager model (whichever the M 5:6 may have been referring to) cannot be identical to the Chembook 2056 as Clevo and Compal are entirely different entities.

Edit: Upon a bit of searching, am assuming now that the model being referred to is the PowerPro M 5:6, which is indeed identical to the Chembook 2056 as they are both manufactured by Compal. The incorrect portion of the title was assuming that Sager/Clevo makes the M 5:6 simply because it is being sold at Powernotebooks, which does indeed sell a number of Clevo products. In this case, however, the model in question is not manufactured by Clevo, and is instead (as stated earlier) manufactured by Compal.

Both the PowerPro M 5:6 and the Chembook 2056 are the Compal CL56.
