I think its The Rock, but then again Diesel will still be big.

My personal fav. action star is Jet Li.

Well, he played football and then wrestled, while Van Damme...danced. I think he'll be better.

I think one of the requirements to be a B movie star is that your movies go straight to video.

I dont know. His first two movies had a pretty high box office gross, and werent all that expensive to make. Its possible as each of his movies come out, and they make money, that studios will then give him bigger blockbuster roles.

Plus, don't forget that Ahnold came from humble beginnings as well. Anyone ever see "Hercules in New York"? Talk about low budget. They even dubbed Ahnold's voice with an American guy's, because his accent was so think.

you call them "A" movie actors?? i sure don't.

What's an 'A' movie actor? He's certainly not at the level that JCVD has been at the last few years.

I like The Rock as the newest big action star. He's charismatic, too. I see him as the next Arnold - except that The Rock needs to do some R rated action films.

I liked the rock in scorpion whatever.

I like vin deisel in pitch black and the first fast and furious.

Shrug, I guess I'd need some designated b movie actors to classify them with. When I think B movies, I think straight to blockbusters and both of those actors have done better than that so far.

But now Steven Seagal is doing Mt Dew commercials....

The Rock is OK. He can even act a little. Vin Diesel is a great action movie guy, but a poor actor IMHO. Is the Rock the next "JCVD?" Yeah, maybe he is, with a better accent.

Rock actually has a personallity...so I think he will have a better career than Diesel.

I heard Mike Reiss, producer of The Simpsons speak on campus a month ago. He mentioned that if they make a movie, it should probably be live action. He said the biggest problem was that they couldn't find an actor dumb enough or bald enough...then Vin Diesel came along ;)

The Rock, unlike Jean Claude, actually has some on screen charisma. And he will be the next Arnold in the sense that he is the new big, buff action star. Then again there really aren't any other action stars he's really competing against, so the rock kinda gets the title by default.

For the Rock, these movies are his first "acting" jobs. And for just starting, he's doing pretty good. I would say that as time goes on, he will become a better actor. I thought he did a pretty good job in the Rundown.

I think The Rock is more a Steven Seagal, as opposed to a JCVD. Definitely NOT in Ahnuld's league.
