Is the Ritz-Carlton worth it?

If you were given a choice of these two hotels:

Hilton Garden Inn (Arlington, VA) for $89/night for 4 nights
Ritz-Carlton (Arlington, VA) for $199/night for 4 nights

Which would you choose? You would be staying there by yourself.

EDIT: you would be paying for it yourself.

I live next to the hilton garden in, and it's nice and it's near lots of fun bars.

Ritz-carlton is SUPER nice, but, even though it's next to a big mall, there's not as much nightlife there

so, if you are looking to be pampered, stay at ritz. if not, stay at hilton, and used the saved money to support the local economy :)

Ritz is pretty cool, I always pick the best place if my work is paying for it.

as for Hilton, my brother stayed there for $55 a night thanks to priceline.

surprised by that saving, I used priceline myself when I went to New Orleans, got a rate of $45 at Wyndham (not the one downtown)
