Is the retail AMD HSF sufficient for getting to 2.4GHZ with an Athlon 64?

I see alot of people getting pretty decent overclock with just the retail cooling, is the retail really all I need to hi 2.4ghz?

it all depends what you are starting off with
if u start off with a 2.2ghz sure its easy to hit 2.4ghz on stock cooling
but if you start off with 1.8 i doubt it

I have one of the older A64s that has a max temp of 70c and@2.4ghz 1.65v the stock cooler was cutting it too close for my comfort. The ones that have a max of 95c I would be happy with the retail cooler and those settings given the temps were in the low to mid 60's indicated SETI load.
