Is the regular (75MB) WinXP SP2 update available someplace for DL?

As above, please. Looking for the regular version of SP2; don't need the 266MB file with all the versions of XP on it.

I checked MS sites, and all I found was the Liveupdate version, which controls everything (I don't think so) and the 266MB monster network install. No thanks.

Thanks for your help.

I would imagine he means so that the auto update of MS is not controlling it....

Why not just order it on CD?

And in all honesty it doesnt matter which you install, there isnt anything to "controll" in any of the installs. Just the basic yes I agree, next, next, finished, restart...

Trust me you're not missing out on anything by letting windows update pull it down.
Umm, LiveUpdate is a trademark of Symantec, not MS
We know what he meant; let's not quibble over semantics (symantec's). ;)
