Is the ram worth it?

I am getting the 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz- 2DIMMs for my computer but I can get 800MHZ for only 10$ more. Is it worth it?

It's not so much a question of whether he's going to overclock the RAM, but faster RAM makes it easier to overclock the CPU.

To put it simply, if you have fast RAM then you don't have to overclock your RAM in order to overclock your CPU.
 
Just wondering, where are you getting your ram? Difference between ddr2 800 and ddr2 667 is minuscule these days as you can often get 2GB of ddr2 800 for $25 or less after rebate.
