I just got a radeon 9800 np from CC for $199, but now I see that ATI 9800 Pro's are selling for >$300 all over the net. So, should I take back the card I got from CC and pay the $100 dollar difference? Would the performance gain justify spending $100 more? BTW, the card from CC has the infineon(sp) memory

sorry, usually when I post in the video section people don't respond as quick, or I don't get as many as I would in the general hardware. But I like to hear what people that post in the video section have to say. I'll try to keep the cross posting at a minimum ;)

I'd say it's worth it.... I Mean, it's like 30 or 40% faster, right? Just going by the clock speeds, and how far they overclock. My R9800Pro is at 425\360. Although there's a member here who has his nonpro @ 440\380 or something. Faster than mine anyways....

you've got the best deal this year ,the 9800 non pro are so rare now, they don't make or sell them here in canada anymore ,everyone was buying them instead of the pro version because of it's price and performance so close to it's brother 9800 pro that you won't even any significant difference between the 2

the only difference is 5-10 % slower than the pro version not 30-40 % like some one mention and it's much cheaper I say you got a really good deal and they are supposed to be able to overclock to pro speeds or higher depending on what type of ram yours comes with

Even though I'm happy with my 9800 pro I still wished I bought the 9800 non pro when it was still around a month earlier in canada ,bc
