I have never seen a bare bones kit that had a decent anything in it. Very few of the cases that come with a PSU have a decent PSU.

Okay if I was going to get something like what you have as a barebone unit, this similar setup would be much better than the one you linked:

CPU/Memory combo - $125 shipped! Hard to beat 4 gb's of DDR2 and CPU combo!
CPU
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Brisbane 2.2GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 65W Dual-Core Processor - Retail
Memory
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...d=0&PageSize=10&page=1

Case/PSU combo - $130 - $30 MIR = $100!! Has a quality Antec Earthwatts 500w PSU, which has 41A on the 12V rails and has a 3 yr. warranty too! :)
Antec Sonata III 500 Black 0.8mm cold rolled steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 500W Power Supply - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16811129024

Mobo - $65 shipped!!! Much better mobo, IMHO. The Biostar mobo is good, but this one is better and is about the same cost.
GIGABYTE GA-MA69VM-S2 AM2 AMD 690V Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813128043

Card Reader - $23 shipped. Just added this in to try and match parts for parts to the one that you linked. I probably wouldn't even have this, but that would be up to you.
Rosewill RCR-103 USB 2.0 Card Reader - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16820223076

Total ~$343 - $30 MIR = $313!!! Now if you ask me, the system above would be much better and it definately has a better and more stable PSU than the one that you linked.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the price above includes the 4 gb's of DDR2, which your barebone only comes with 1 gb's of DDR2. Not sure what brand they use, but at least with this build you will know for sure. Also all parts have at least a 1 yr. warranty on them, so if you encounter any issues, you can at least RMA them within the first 12 months.
