Is the Promise Ultra ATA100 controller a FIC?

I was about to order a promise ATA100 card from
http://www.pc-beyond.com/ for $27 inc. 2 air (15 + 12) and I noticed it was listed as a:
"Promise FIC NR100 Ultra-100 Controller Card w/Cable Fedex 2Days"

Is this a real Promise card or is it a FIC card with a promise chip.
Is this a little shady?

This card is supposed to be bundled with some FIC mainboards(some old FICs don't come with ATA100, so they use this card).

So far as I know, this card is based on Promise chipset and has no bios on the card, you have to modify the bios of your mb and make this card work.
