Specifically California post offices since it's a federal holiday tomorrow. Do you think that they will just have shortened business hours?

I doubt it.

Speaking of which...are the major grocers (e.g. Albertson's, Kroger, etc.) open at all on July 4th? I just had a bunch of friends invite themselves over and I need to buy some hot dogs and other meat.

shouldn't be. my brother in law who works for postal office got a day off today (july 4th)

I know my local Albertson's is open with regular business hours... they only had 4 signs posted at every register.

Hey bright one, he was talking about the major grocers... not the USPS. And yes, nearly all of them are open with regular hours.

Yes I saw every last part of it. And the :confused: made me think you were confused. Why bother to post your original message when MisterPresident had made it abundantly clear that he was not talking about the USPS?
