Maybe I should rephrase. Most Matrix fans already have the DVD. Who would pay $8 to see a movie they have on DVD at home? I wouldn't.

There's a theater near me that has a "midnight movie" every Friday and Saturday night. They show old movies like Goonies, Pi, cult classic stuff that's probably available on DVD, or at least VHS. Why would people pay $5 to go to that?
