Is the OEM copy of Windows 7 supposed to come with a case sticker?

like the ones you see on front of prebuilt PC's.

I bought and OEM copy of Windows 7 Pro from Newegg. There is a COA sticker for the back but no case sticker for the front.

I know it's a minor thing but I would like to have a Windows 7 sticker on the front.

No, they don't come with those. I know ebay was dishing them out for ~$1 a little while ago.

They do come in different places. Lenovo likes to put them in the battery compartment underneath the battery.

I think he is talking about the little windows 7 sticker that you see on the front of the cases and on laptops like this and not the COA/Product key sticker

To OP I did a quick search and did fine Moddiy.com that sells them individually. It looks like they have all kinds of logo stickers so you can plaster it like some laptops with ever logo under the sun :)

Also found on amazon as well but don't think you want pay $10 for 1 sticker

Alternately, if you know someone with a laptop or case that has one you could take a hairdryer or heat gun to loosen it up and peal it off if they don't want it
