Is the NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 right for me?

The NVIDIA SHIELD Tablet K1 looks like what I need. I am looking for a new tablet for $200 with 2GB of ram and 32GB of internal space. I was looking for the Lenovo Tab 2 A10, but I cannot find the 32GB version anywhere. I think they stopped making it, but I cannot find out for sure. I also see on their forums that it has problems with lollipop. The new Shield doesn't have as large of a screen as the tab 2, but I can live with that. It also doesn't have 32GB of internal storage, but it is suppose to get marshmallow which should remove the whole internal vs external issues in Android. I like the price and the specs, but am I paying to much if I don't plan to use the cloud or PC streaming features? Is there something better for the price and specs I am looking for?

The SHIELD's processor is going to spank the MediaTek in the Lenovo. Plus NVIDIA Android builds have the best SD card support around, you can install apps straight to it, so you might not even need 32 GB on-board, or Marshmallow (which they've promised for it).

battery life on the SHIELD isn't all that hot, but Doze should help when it gets Mallow.

I had the first version, loved the performance, hated the battery life, hated the LTE modem (it really sucked). I'm considering picking one back up, because I'm tired of my 8.4 inch Galaxy Tab S lagging and stuttering.

Anandtech's review says the original gets 11 hours watching a movie, so I think that will work. I am getting two to replace my two oldest boy's Nabi 2's.
