Is the Motorola V400 a good phone?

So, I have to get a new phone with better features since my old one is giving up the ghost.

I'm on Cingular, and plan to stay with them. I'm looking at the phones on their site, and the Motorola V400 seems pretty middle of the road with regard to features and price, which I think is good for me. It has a camera and a color screen, which are good... and it's quad-band (I didn't know that)?

Are there any known problems with this phone? Is it good quality? I'm about to look up more info on it, but I'd like to hear ATOT's opinion. I feel like I'm in over my head trying to choose the phone that's right for me.

I have the V400 on Cingular. The phone doesn't suck, it's the service here in Orlando. It's good in other cities though.

Thanks, guys. I'm not too worried about the service here. Cingular is pretty good in Houston. Other parts of the country, though...

The battery life does seem pretty short, but it's longer than my current phone, and longer than any of the other phones I was shopping for, so I hope it'll be okay. I'm glad to hear you guys like the phone.

I'm really starting to like it, especially now that I see you can flash the firmware to get a V600, albeit without Bluetooth. I was also looking into the V500, but those are too hard and expensive to get.
