Not a good gaming mouse, it has lots of features that make Windows, browsing & business apps good but it is only average at gaming. Also I've never been able to get games to properly recognize the mouse wheel on it, I don't know if this is my fault or not.

Well they duped me for a lot more money than I should have paid. I'm sure I'd be happy with a G3, G5 or G7. The only thing I really like about the MX revolution is the 'Smartshift' wheel, but as I said, games don't like it, great for web browsing though.

EDIT: I've also got to add that it's rechargeable so you don't need batteries, that's a great feature too.

Not laggy, IMO. But it does jump or stutter occasionally, I don't know if that's cause it's wireless or what. My biggest problem in games is not being able to properly map the buttons and scroll wheel.

I don't know if it will help or not, but I just got turned on to uberOptions, and it lets you configure some Logitec products six ways from Hell.

Good Luck!

I have a MX rev and had lots of problems with gaming. Drop outs and stuttering were frequent and it loves to go into sleep mode at the most inopportune time. It's a fantastic mouse for desktop use though, I love the weighted, free spinning wheel.

I ended up buying a deathadder for gaming and still use the rev for general use.
