Is the Liteon LTD-163 DVD drive fully compatible with WinXP right out of the box?

Is the dvd drive and software compatible with Windows XP right out of the box? I'm pretty sure it is, but I just want to be sure..

I just bought a Liteon 16x dvd. I don't know if it is the same one that you are asking about, but my Liteon was fully compatible with XP right out of the box.

the retail box has power dvd. if it's still version 3 then you'll need a patch for XP!
