Is the kodak DX3600 worth the xtra $100 over the DX3500

Does anyone know what the difference between the DX3600 and DX3500 beside the xtra zoom? Im about to pick one up but im not sure which way to go. Any suggestions or comments. Im new to digital cameras and this will be my first. Thanks
