Is the Internet starting to fall apart, or it is my imagination.

Every think is so slow and unreadable, and I have fast Cable service

But it makes you wonder if that it is his connection, he can still log into Anandtech and post this message.

The Internet is falling apart man

There was a backbone cut near Australia which has severely hurt communications to many Asian sites.

But, it's your imagination. 🙂

Also everyday more & more new people are using the Internet so Internet traffic will become like cars.

🙂

Of interest to this thread, although maybe nothing, but there has been an increase of solar flare activity recently. The Earth is supposed to be hit by a wave of some kind of radiation this week. There is the possibility of satelite communication problems and the outside chance of other electronic interference.

It's happened before resulting in a power failure, so no need to panic.

Free T3-Speed-Like connections and we'll all be happy. I'm pretty content with my Pentium IX processor. 🙂

Its probably because Al Gore is currently hard at work on trying to become the next president and is unable to devote more time to upkeeping the Internet. I'm sure once this recount business is through, he'll fix things right up. 😀

This is driving me crazy! I'm not sure if I should be screwing with my DUN settings or not. I'm connected at about 40,000bps. Sometimes I click a link and I'm on my way in a flash. Still takes time to load thanks to this slow connection, but at least it's at the site loading. Other times it takes about 20 seconds before it even says, "Web site found. Waiting for reply..."

I've adjusted the TTL from 32 to 64 and back. MTU from 1500 to 576, RWIN from 8760 to 4288. Blackhole remains at 0 and Discovery at 1. Or should I leave it all alone and live with this? There IS something wrong. I just don't know if it's at my end or not.

Edit: Forgot to mention that I've also cleared cookies and disk cache. Damn, something's screwy! :|
