Or is it not?

I imagine it to be infinite b/c isn't something new always being added or something new updated?

That's a broadcast address, I think you mean 254.254.254.254
And that's just working with the current IPv4. Wait till IPv6 (or whatever might replace it) is implemented in the near future; it'll still be limited, but just so damned huge no one will care.

People always misuse infinite :) It isn't infinite, unless you consider scripts that generate random crap "content."

I think the proper terminology is finite but unbounded.

It is finite at any given moment, infinite if extrapolated into the infinite future (Assuming no end of the world)

You know, I thought the official "end of the internet" page was served from somewhere in Canada or something... Now I have to find this, if it's still around.

Heh, there are a billion of these things, now! I want to find the one I'm thinking of, though.

Edit: AH HA!!!1 I don't think it's the real thing, but it's close enough to what I was thinking of.

No.

Now, I'm not exactly sure in what context you mean this, but the way I take it.. it terminates at us, the end users.

For some reason, I automatically think of the actual physical links, fiber/wires..
