Is the HT OMEGA CLARO Plus+ Sound Card Good?

Does anyone have this card? I see very good reviews on newegg about it. How good does it sound? Does it do well in games?

Yes, the sound card is very good. It's not going to edge out the X-fi in games. It doesn't have the latest EAX technologies. However, It does edge out the X-fi in sound quality. It also includes the ability to encode to digital in real time.

If I wanted a card for just music / home theater I would go with the auzentech cards meridian or Xplosion.
Both do dolby digital live and sound great. Drivers are stable as well.
You will have to find them , probably on ebay, since they ran out of cmedia chips to make them.

If I wanted to get a xifi based card I would get the auzentech version.
Its built much better than creatives version and allows you to change out the op amps if you want.
