Is the Geil 3500 Ultra Platinum any good for OC'ing?

I ordered 2x256 sticks of the Geil 3500 Ultra Platinum because it got decent reviews, 4/5 at newegg.com and was way cheaper then the other brands, $56 per stick. ( http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?description=20-144-405 )
I got a 2.6c, abit is7 motherboard along with it. Im wondering how good, or bad this ram is for overclocking. Any input will help, thanks.

GEIL has a really spotty reputation around here for not hitting the stock speed/timings.

My Geil is doing fine, but my RAM is only at 210 Mhz on my IC7.

Most ppl OCing Geil need to run high voltage... My IC7 goes to only 2.8 VDimm so I couldn't up the voltage to see if I can run tighter timings. Right now I can only run @ SPD (2-3-3-6)

For best timings and OC, I'd say try the newer OCZ, or Twinmos/Buffalo/Winbond stuff.

Considering you might not crack 260-275 FSB, and PC3500, even slighty OCed PC3200 would be fine. I only plan on upgrading my RAM when I can run it synch with my CPU at over DDR500 with good timings.
