Is the Geforce2 GTS worth the cost of $320 (Norwegian prices)

I am really unsure of what to buy: An MSI Starforce 816 Geforce2 MX 32 MB SDR RAM w/TV-out for $180, or a Hercules 3D Prophet II Geforce2 GTS 32 MB DDR w/TV-out for $320???? I play many games, and I was wondering how much of a difference the extra 30-40 fps really matters in games like Q3?? Will 60 fps in Q3 now be sufficent for a long time when future games come out??? How long do u think the Geforce2 GTS card will "last", with some previous experience on your back?? I dont have a load of grands, so I am concerned about the money, but on the other hand, I dont want my system to suffer badly from the lack of a great graphics card...Will the performance difference be like day and night??

Whats your experience of the graphics card industry for the last years???

depending on what you are using now...yes it will be like day and night...
I have had both the MX and the hercules...I kept the hercules and sold the MX within a few weeks...dont get me wrong, the Mx is a great card!! But the GTS2 just blows it away...and is 40 fps a difference? AH! YES!!
the two card perform similarly and both look great, but for $40 I would go ahead a spring for the Hercules...just my opinion, of course

Geforce 2 is a very good card. It's a little faster than the Radeon, with a few less DX8 features. It's worth it.
