Is the Geek Squad serious

Apparently PC gamers are all trust fund kiddies who are so lazy they can't even install a video game but rich enough to spend $50 to have someone do it for you.

In reality PC Gamers are the least likely to use any kind of geek squad service.
 
Some people are really afraid of this stuff.

If PC gaming is restricted to those willing to build and tweak their own machines, it'll die.
 
Their customers will probably be madder after shelling out $50 just to see a slide show on their Intel Extreme Graphics. Learn about computers or don't game on the PC, that's always how it's been thanks to "highend" pre-builts with crappy GPU's.

I always laughed anytime I went into CompUSA and at the service center their price sign said $80 to install a CD/DVD Drive.

Id install them all day long for $5 a pop if I could
 
Even better than this in my opinion was the "game optimization" package I remember, where they'd speed up your computer, optimize your game, and install exactly 1 app. What that would amount to is probably run CCleaner, have your game auto-optimize to whatever the best settings are, and leave CCleaner installed as "optimization software" and charge you $200 for it 😛
