Is the Gamecube that good?

im getting sick of nintendo, the same games over and over across 10 consoles is starting to get old....

that being said, i game on PC, Xbox, and GC. PC being the best, Xbox second, GC 3rd (although Halo 2 may bump up the xbox to #1 🙂 )

I love my cube as well. The ps2 is collecting dust and the xbox is in storage until I get KOTOR...the cube is the only one that gets played with any regularity! Gotta get Mario Golf!

And the answer is pretty much always the same: "Depends on what games you're interested in playing."

Buy a GameCube for:

Nintendo first-party titles (Mario, Zelda, Metroid)
Entertaining party games (Super Smash Bros., Mario Party, Super Monkey Ball)
Resident Evil games

Let us not forget all former Sega-only titles. The Sonic pack is available for GC if you enjoyed the games back in the Genesis days. (I sure as hell did)

EDIT: For the younger players GC is the best system out there. Most of the titles are geared towards the younger players, or at least can be appreciated by them. (Doesn't make Super Smash, Metroid and Zelda any less fun though)

I have a GameCube and I play the hell out of NCAA Football 2004 and many others. I think it's a great choice, but the only thing it is lacking is in the ONLINE multiplayer department. Outside of that, you can't go wrong!

I noticed when I went to Circuit City this weekend they had a great deal for the Gamecube.

Buy a Gamecube and you get Zelda:Windwalker and a silver wireless controller free.

ooooh.. I just may buy it.

I would need a gun to my head to spend more money on consoles after all I invested in a gaming PC.

I like Game Cube even though I refuse to pay for one. Their prices seem like "Hi, we are going out of business please buy!" . However a great value for what games they offer.

Consoles are no good. They try, but in the end, I will always stay with the PC....always.

But then you always have to upgrade your PC for the latest graphic heavy pc games.
