Is the gamecube pretty much dead?

Im liking the fact a lot of my game cube crap will not go to wast, just the main unit, once I get my hands on a Wii. There are tons of good games for the game cube and can be had cheaply at www.gamestop.com if you dont mind buying pre-owned.

in fact around 230 ish games to be exact, used, for the game cube/Wii
