Is the finished version of Q4 better than the Demo?

I d/l'ed the demo and it seems like a decent game but some things look really wierd like the character's faces and half of some doors look all black. I have a 6800gt with 7.8.0.1 drivers. The driver is a bit old but not bad. Is the finished version a bit more smoothed out?
 
Download the latest nvidia drivers. When I played it on my 9800 Pro, it ran perfectly with no apparent glitches.
 
I played the demo until it crashed when I tried to enter the building after the plane crash

u tried to play a doom3 engine game with a 8500le? heh ouch

and yea ur drivers. there are overly dark shadows at times, but not on the faces.

gameplay is just quake 2 of course. if thats ur thing u'll like it. i liked fear much better

it was playable outside and looked ok to play the experience and not the graphics, but once it crashed, I wasn't in the mood to try and figure it all out just for a demo

Full version is longer! 😀

Game is pretty good, especially inside and on foot. I find the vehicles are kinda crappy, but they work and give the game some variety.
 
I'll get the new drivers. I won't get the full version till christmas. I just bought FEAR to tide me over till christmas since I just got out of school and have nothing to do. Well almost nothing, I"m gonna learn Dreamweaver 8 this break too.
 
I just played the demo, and really liked it. Hopefully it's no Doom3. 🙁 All dark and just 'peek-a-boo' scare tactics.

Has anyone beaten it? How long is the actual gameplay?

It's average in length, theres about 4 boss battles IIRC. It doesn't have peekaboo scare tactics.
