Is the Family Guy DVD hard for you to get?

I had a 20 dollar gift card to Media Play, so I was going to use it to pay for part of the Family Guy DVD. Call Tuesday night to see if they have it, sold out. Assure me that another shipment will be in by Friday. Call on Friday, and the guy says that they got the shipment earlier in the day, and it sold out in an hour or two. So I decide to go to their website, that has to work, right? Put in the order on Friday night, specify two day shipping, and hope to get it by Tuesday or Wednesday. So what do I get today in my inbox? The DVD is sold out from the online store and they are waiting for more to arrive. If it's this popular, how did Family Guy ever get canceled after only three seasons?
 
I was wondering the same thing, why did it get cancelled in the first place? My friend bought seasons 1 and 2 on dvd. Funny stuff, but most of it is very crude and cruel. My type of show.

Never mind, I just got another email saying that it has shipped. Must have got another shipment in sometime between 2:30 this morning when the original email was sent and just now when the shipping confirmation got sent out.

I didn't have much of a problem getting it.. had to pay a bit more for it ($9)... but I didn't want to wait for it to come through the mail.
 
family guy rawks. i love stewie and his football head 🙂 what captivated me about the show was the subtle sarcasm. when the show first came out i thought it was wittier than the simpsons. it was around the time futurama came out also. once futurama came out, i think the quality of the simpsons suffered. same writers and all. in all honesty, the family guy prolly got cancelled cuz of the "harshness"....e.g. stewie is a little baby who is trying to kill his mother! that isn't all that funny when you think about it!
 
Had no problem with mine since I preordered from Amazon but, for whatever reason, a lot of people are having a hard time finding them.
