If this is indeed happening, I'd like to know what legislation the DOJ is thinking gives them the authority to do these things or are they just making shit up as they go along. I'm curious this has not been picked up more by the lame stream media.

It wouldn't make me teary eyed if they drove the loan shar... I mean payday loan industry out of business but everyone diserves due process and equal treatment under the law.

There would seem to be a significant difference between going after banks holding accounts of people engaged in illegal activity and going after banks holding accounts of people engaged in legal activity you just happen dislike.

Except you ignore the fact that prostitution has become and remained exploitative toward women because it is kept illegal in the first and thus remains in the hands of exploitation criminals in the US. Where and when women (and men) have been able to circumvent or overthrow any exploitation is when technology has nullified the middle-man (pimp or madam) via the internet. Furthermore in the end prostitution as a service between two consenting adults is no different then any other service oriented job provide by a private contractor in society except that people in this country place moral taboos around it because....***OH THE HORROR !!*** it involves sex and thus it allows for exploitation because government and society push these people into corners of society controlled by the criminal element.

Most professional high priced prostitutes in places like Nevada pay federal taxes. Those that work out of Nevada do so because of the no state income tax benefit in that state.
