Is the Crest Night Effects gel any good?

I was looking at the different types of teeth whitening stuff that they have on the market now, and I was about to buy a bottle of the
Colgate "paint on" stuff but someone suggested I try the Crest Night Effects gel paste. I looked at it and it's about half the price of the
white strips and you only have to use it at night while you're sleeping. You just apply it on before you go to bed. It looks easy and it is
fairly reasonable for a price, but what I would like to know is if anyone has tried it yet and how well it works?

Does it work well? Is it as good as the white strips? Or what is the best teeth whitening thing out on the market now?

My girlfriend has it and the White Strips. I haven't asked her which she likes better nor which works better, but from my perspective, the paint on crap is gross looking. She also spends 10-15 minutes getting everything covered thoroughly. (Maybe she's going overboard, maybe it really is that hard). White Strips take aboot 10 seconds each.

So, if you're broke or if time/convenience is no issue to you, get the paste. If not, go for the strips - plus you can use the strips during the daytime and do other stuff if you want, without looking like a complete goon.

I used the Night Effects and they worked great! Sucks having to paint on the goop though. Also, you have to brush to remove it in the morning, and it will DESTROY your toothbrush. I learned the hardway by destroying a SoniCare brush head. :|

I wend to Crest's site and they suggested using a tissue in the morning to reduce buildup on your toothbrush :)

I got a pack of the Night Effects the other day but haven't had a chance to try it out yet but I will soon.
Someone who uses the white strips told me that she doesn't like them for the fact that you have to have 1/2 hr free twice a day
and then she can't answer the phone or hold a conversation during that time, but the gel is just used before you go to bed
which I think I can handle.
