Is the Creative Zen Micro a good MP3 player?

I've considered the iPod mini, but I can get the Zen Micro for almost $40 less, and it comes with an extra GB of space and FM radio tuner.

Flash-based players don't have the capacity I'm aiming at. Should I get the Micro?

Yeh the Zen Micro is a GREAT piece of kit - My bro got one recently. The sound is amazing.

If only they didnt put that sh!tty white ipod-stlye back plate on them it would be perfect and I would already have one. I want something thats NOT an iPod.

If I were in the market for an MP3 player (i.e., thought I'd ever use one), I'd almost certainly get the Zen Micro.

I like the way the black micro looks. Bought one last week, haven't really tested out battery life mostly just sound quality and so far I love it, nice sounding player and I charge the battery every couple days and thats really all I need. It comes with and extra battery if you manage to find somewhere that still have the limited edition (I lucked out). Overall I would give this mp3 player a 9.4/10 not a huge amount of accessories for it yet is the only thing I dislike, but I see that there are some cases on ebay now so I will likely be buying one when I decide to keep the player for sure.
