Is the Corsair HX520W enough?

My becoming rig:

Antec P182B (might use all fan slots)
Abit IP35-Pro
Intel C2Q Q6600 (will OC at least 3ghz)
Noctua NH-U12P CPU cooler (with push pull)
G.Skill PC-8000 2x2gb (maybe will oc, not much)
MSI 8800GT (Factory OCed)
2xSATA 7200RPM
1xIDE DVD-+RW
1xFirewire Digital Audio card
6xUSB (tops, one being an external harddrive)

.

I've already calculated with the eXtreme Power Supply Calculator Lite v2.5. Ending @ 386w

I just need someone to share their expertise whether this calculator is really reliable, and would the Corsair HX520W be enough? Or would I have to go with the bigger brother Corsair HX620W?

520 is enough.

The Corsair hx520w PSU would be plenty. You could even go with the less expensive vx550w PSU, but it doesn't come with modular cabling. It has 41A on the 12V rail, so it's plenty powerful. You can decide, but the 520 is plenty for your proposed build.

Thanks a lot for the comments guys.

Since I now don't have to buy the Corsair 620W, I'll have some money saved and thought I'll upgrade the GPU instead. So my last question is, would it still be enough with the Corsair 520W if I switched the MSI 8800GT (Factory OC) to a MSI 8800GTS (Also Factory OC)?

(I don't think there would be much of a difference, right?).

You will be just fine with that. There is only about 20 watts difference between the 2 GPU's, so don't fret over it too much. :)

Either one is more than plenty for a single graphics card setup.

I have a system with Q6600@3.2Ghz & 8800GT overclocked plus watercooling, 7 fans & other stuffs,
my 500W can handle it no problem.

Asus P5E X38, q6600 @ 3.4ghz, 4x1gb ddr2, 8800gt, 2 250gb hd, 2 dvdrw, 5 case fans, pci sound card and wireless

Kill a watt has never read more than 355 watts... and this was while running crysis cpu benchmark. Idles at around 200-210

You could have a highly oc'd quad and sli/crossfire with no problems with that 520hx as long as it was 2 of the newer rv670 or g92 cards.

Thx, this thread has been more than enough.

Everyone always seem to exaggerate with the watts (don't mistake me for one, I actually get the 620HX for the SAME PRICE as the 520HX).

But as I said.. very helpful thread, I know where to set them rim now. Thanks.
