I purchased a system with the Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz processor and the Nvidia Geforece 512mb 7900GTX video card. I went with the middle of the road Core 2 Duo processor because it has the 4MB of cache as the higher end and EE Core 2 Duo chips.
I'm looking for the best info on how to go about over clocking both the processor and the video card. Also if there is a web site that will give me great info on the Core 2 Duo processors I'd really appreciate a link

It's definitley overclockable if you get the right combination of hardware and if you know what you're doing. List potential specs for us.

You're already there. Link

Of interest to you, on page 18: "The 2.4GHz E6600 turned out to be quite an overclocker in our tests. Even though it was hard-locked at a 9 multiplier it reached an amazing 4GHz in the overclocking tests. That represents a 67% overclock. " Obviously, your results will vary.
