Is the colder weather going to help my pest problem?

First off I am going to go talk with the property owners tomorrow and get something done about the issue.

Basically the apartment I am renting appears to have a roach problem. Kind of an older place, but still in decent condition. Still over the past few weeks I keep finding them wandering around which forces me to break out the instant kill raid to combat them. I only feel reasonably safe during the day, but hell just the other week I found one in my bedroom in the middle of the day!

I can't figure out where they are coming from either. I can only assume its at the places where there is no floor border/trim and there is a gap between the carpet and wall. Never in the kitchen area though, thank god to.

It's really starting to piss me off as I hate these things with a passion. Got woken up by one crawling on my face a few weeks ago.:| Interestingly it has gotten worse as the temps decrease, thus I am wondering if this issue is going to get worse with the colder temps or actually better in say December?

and just to make note: I keep my place clean. I clean the floors when they need to be, I don't leave food out or dishes uncleaned, and I don't have a lot of stuff.

Well, animals/insects/life-forms in general try to head somewhere warm when it's cold, so... it's only going to get worse. The apt. owner needs to get the place professionally sprayed and/or check to see if there are cracks in the walls letting all the insects in.

It's very possible you have a disgusting neighbor and they're coming from their place. No amount of cleanliness on your part will keep them away if that's the case.

Yet another reason I hate apartments...

Remember if you see one roach there are 1000's more you don't see hiding in the walls!

Also if you found one on your face there is a very good chance it was chomping on your eyebrows or other facial hair ... sweet dreams! :p
