Is the clock speed the only differance between the 9700 and the pro?

I just got a Radeon 9700 np oem by saphire. I installed riva tuner so I could check the clock speeds and it says they are 325 and 310. So does this make it a 9700 pro?

Sounds like a pro to me. Try powerstrip or rage3d's tweaker to verify your numbers.
