Is the CA DMV website messed up for everyone else?

The service required by Access Manager WebSEAL is located on a junctioned back-end server that is temporarily down.

Solutions
Please contact your System Administrator. The back-end server may be down.

It's unlikely you can get a "same day" appointment anyway. IME, they schedule appointments a week in advance...sometimes two weeks, and I live in an area with far fewer people.

However, get to the DMV 30-60 minutes before it opens and you usually get out of there fairly quickly.
 
I once made an appointment and was scheduled at 3pm on a 23rd. So the next week i show up and go to the desk and they tell me you're here on the wrong day, it's for next month on the 23rd (Confirmed my print out and sure enough it was for next month the 23rd, go figure it would take a month and a week to get an appointment!). She said either come back or just wait, which was an hour and a half wait. I was called and ended up leaving when they were closing/locking the doors. I hate that place.
 
Remember that CA has been cutting services because they can not live within their means

ouch! yeah, I know the resversations are way out, I'm not that big in a hurry, so I don't mine booking it a few weeks out, I just hate wasting my time there.

looks like the site is back up though 🙂
 
Yeps. I've found the DMV to be fairly efficient. That's saying a lot lot given they get all sorts of assholes and weird characters.
