is the Athlon 1.4 an Athlon 4 ??

In other words, does it have the new optimizations such as SSE support, better memory access, etc..? I'm getting new comp and so far it the 1.33ghz looks like the most bang for buck.
 
No it is not. The Athlon4 (mp) is not out in desktop version yet. I agree with the "best bang for buck" on the 1.33
 
the current athlon 1.4 is a thunderbird not a athlon4

but.... that doesnt mean 1.4ghz athlon4's wont come out , cause im sure they will, i think the 1.4athlonmp will be out soon
