Is the Asus TUF Z370 Motherboard good for overclocking?

I have an I5 8600K and a TUF Z370 motherboard, and I was looking to get into overclocking. I've been looking at other motherboards and my own and there are some things I don't quite understand, what do the different power phases mean? It says my motherboard has a 4+2+1-phase delivery design, and I've seen others that have higher, how will this affect overclocking my cpu? Does the motherboard even have a significant affect on what you can achieve overclocking a cpu and what are some things to look out for when overclocking in general? Also what is reasonable to expect overclock wise for an I5 8600K?
