I'm the biggest Antec fan in the world (at least in my own mind) but, if you look here on AMD's page you'll see that the P303x isn't listed; only the 400w supply is.

WAIT! Before you flame me or reply....the P303x used to be listed as approved. That's why I bought my KS282/P303x combination in the first place! Why they took it off, I don't know. But I can tell you that myself and prolly thousands of others are running big and small Athlon/Duron rigs off this supply with Zero Problems. The supply used to be listed....really it did.

Actually it IS listed, but these are the only "official" supported CPU speeds: Athlon 900, Athlon 850, Athlon 800, Athlon 750, Athlon 700, Athlon 650, Athlon 600.

Yup, it is approved for lower speeds. I'm using a 303x with a 1200/266 without any problems though.

I called Antec customer service a couple of days ago and specificall asked if the Antec PP-303x could be used with an AMD 1.2GHz, and was told by them "Yes".

Their response to the AMD website page was that AMD needs to badly update that page.

No, just about any 300W p/s will work for AMD processors--that AMD approved list is kind of a joke if you ask me. BUT, if you buy a 300W p/s for something "too good to be true" better get something else.

Yes, the Antec 300W is nice--no real voltage spikes--I use it...a lot of posters have it.
