System 1 = Thunderbird 900mhz, 384mb pc133, aiw 32mb, defualt drivers off disk with mmc 7.2, windows 2000.

System 2 = Duron 700, 256mb pc133, radeon 7500 oem (sapphire@ 250/183), latest omega drivers, windows xp with system restore disabled.

In 3dmark2001 system 1 = 1918 and system 2 = 2612
In UT opening scene system 1 = 52 fps and system 2 = 43 fps

My first question, is this normal and to be expected I figured it would be hard to crack 3000 on 3dmark on the older duron system but figured I would get better fps in UT than my aiw. My other guess is that UT may be more dependent on the cpu than the video card.

My second question, is there a program that can be used to overclock the 7500 other than 3 listed on the www.rage3d.com. I have heard sapphire has an program to overclock the cards but have had no luck locating it.

Thanks

UT is very dependent on the CPU. And no, the AIW Radeon is far slower than the Radeon 7500. You are getting more FPS because the Thunderbird is faster than the Duron.
You should go over to rageunderground.com and download the Radeon Tweaker.
