Is the airflow on my SK7 optimal?

I just picked up a new SK7 from svc yesterday for $17. When I peeled off the sticker, I saw lots of ridges (like fingerprint ones) so I sanded it to as much as a mirror finish as I could. Applied a nice layer of ASIII and slapped on the quad blue led fan I also bought. The fan is rated to be about 3000 rpm and 33cfm. With that fan centered on top of the SK7, I couldn't feel nearly any airflow coming out from between the fins. Most of the airflow I felt came out from the parts of the 80mm fan jutting over the more narrow SK7. I put my other blue led fan rated for 2500 rpm and 32 cfm on because for some reason its airflow seemed more balanced than the quad blue. So I slap it on too and I still can't feel any airflow coming out from between the fins, but I can feel it from the jutting out parts. Right now my CPU temps are 37C idle and 43C full load, cpu speed at 2200mhz @ 1.58V. Temps on the 3k rpm quad led fan were 35C idle and 43C full load. I know this isn't a vantec tornado but is this how it is supposed to be with regular speed 80mm fans?

Those temps look pretty good, but i guess that depends on your CPU and what you have your Vcore at. I don't think you have anything to worry about. A lot of people like the SK-7 because of the air that blows over the sides of the HS onto other components around the CPU.

When I turn down my smartfan2 under 3000rpm I could barely feel the air through the fins too. When I up to higher above 4000+ the airs starts flowing out stronger. 43c load isn't that bad though.

I put back my 3k rpm quad led since it was only 2 dBa louder than the other one. and looked hella better. I'm now running my chip at 2300mhz @ 1.68V. I only need to run prime 95 for up to 1000 tests in order to test stability on this. For some reason if its not stable, prime will always spit up within the first 3 tests. During the run, the full load temps was 46C, idle temps are 37C. Damn, this looks to be one hella nice heatsink. Also one more note, side panel off, room window open with some breeze coming in, no exhaust fan.
