Is the ability to complete 3DMark2001SE truly a sign of stability?

If I'm at CAS2 it kicks me out to the desktop even if I'm at default of 133MHz (XP 2200+), but if I set it to CAS2 I complete 3DMark2001SE at 160FSB (8273 for the recent compgeeks GF3 TI 200).

Otherwise, at 160FSB CAS2 my rig is rock solid - RAM is Corsair XMS3000C2 and is rated at CAS2 up to 184MHz.

So, the question is does this mean that my system is potentially unstable at 160FSB CAS2 because 3DMark2001SE won't finish or is this just a "quirk" with 3DMark2001SE?

Anyone know or have an opinion regarding this issue?

Thanx!

i'd say its a pretty good indicator of stability, or the lack thereof.

when you overclocked your fsb to 160 did you up your agp and pci speeds as well?
that can cause major isntability...ideally agp and pci speeds shouldn't change...
