Is the A8-6500T faster than the i5-6500?

I have looked but have not really found any definitive answer to which is really a faster processor. Does anyone care to give their input? Is the A8-6500T faster than the i5-6500? Thanks.

Yeah, AMD and Intel use totally different model numbers for marketing purposes. An A8 6500T is not equivalent to a Core i5 6500 in any way.

Passmark rates the i5 around 7040:

An A8 is way down around 3385:

The i5 is quite literally twice as powerful in synthetic benches. In the A8's defense,
it isn't too far behind the G4400 (Passmark score: 3678)
