Is the 8800 GTS 320MB enough for me?

Well I'm building a new system and will probably be ordering my parts next week.

CPU:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 Stepping Kentsfield 2.40GHz 8MB L2 LGA 775 Processor Retail BX80562Q6600 SLACR

Motherboard:
ABIT IP35 Pro LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

Memory:
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

Case:
Antec Nine Hundred Black ATX Mid Tower Case Retail

Cooling:
Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme CPU Cooler - Retail
With: Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F 120mm Case Fan - Retail

I'm currently using a 17" Sony LCD Monitor and I plan on getting a 20" Widescreen LCD in the next couple of months and will be using both monitors. The 20" will be used when I'm playing games and I'd like to run at its native resolution and hopefully run games close to their max settings for a good year or so. Should I pay the extra to get a 8800GTX? I can live without running AA in the game settings, just the graphical settings and the resolution need to be playable. I'm already spending much more than I had originally intended and will most likely need to pick up another PSU. I currently have a 450w (OCz ModStream 450w). This PC will be used for extreme multi-tasking and I will be OC'ing the CPU.

Shouldn't have a problem running native 20", especially if you don't care about AA.

Thanks.

Yeah, I think I'm going to pay about $60 more and get double the memory with the 8800GTS 640 just so I'm not limiting myself with video ram in the future or the present. My main concern right now is my PSU though.

PSU should be okay, of course I haven't looked at the AMP ratings, and I don't know how much a quad core pulls.

Right now, though, my system is using a Zalman quiet 460W PSU with no problems.

I think I will need a better PSU. My 12V rail is only 26A and I'm pretty sure I need at least 30A for this card and I'm going to be Overclocking my CPU.

Yes, get the Corsair 520 or 620, very stable, have owned both of them, the 620 conked out, BUT, Corsair had a new one to my door in two days. very good service. the new one is still working well after about 6 months. I bought both of those PSU's the week they came out.

Your system is good, and that card will be just fine to run all of that. But, I will say this, you don't need the P35 pro, get the P35 E, and save the money. And then with the money saved, get the Ballistix Tracer's for about 20 dollars more a set and sit back and just love your computer. That P35-e Is a great OC'er as well.
