For some light overclocking and just overall system stability, is the PSU strong enough? I know that the modstream is rated 28A on the 12V, whereas ATI recommends 30A.

If not, what PSU would you recomment for under $100?

I used that PSU on my X1900XTX (which uses slightly more power) for a few days while I was waiting for my normal one to be replaced. It will work fine.

Oh, I thought he already it. The Corsair is indeed definitely a better choice if he needs to buy a new one.

I ran the 520w Modstream on my last system: X2 4400+, 1900XT, 4 SATA drives, 2 optical drives, etc. Stable as a rock. I was very happy with it and liked the modular design.

Ah. Thanks for all the replies. I am getting the ocz psu as part of a trade.

Is anyone using the ocz with a 8800? (Gts)
