Question Is the 2nd slot on the ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING going to "Cripple' my RTX 3070 realistically?

So turns out the case I will be using, will be blocking the first PCIe slot.... (silverstone DG11).
I was wondering if the 2nd slot will crippled my 3070 or if realistically, I will be fine.

Thanks

PS a different case is not an option.

What is blocking the first slot? Assuming you mean the GD11 and not DG11 (which comes up with nothing on a search), I don't see anything that should block the first slot, especially since that motherboard has the first pcie16 slot in the number 2 position and an m2 slot in the number 1 position.

According to the manual, that slot is:

x4 instead of x16
Comes out of the chipset instead of CPU
Shares bandwidth with other slots AND M.2

So yes, GPU will lose performance.

So... begs the question: Where does a 4090 start to become bottle-necked? 4.0 x 4x, 8x, or 16x?

3.0 x 4x, 8x, or 16x?
