Is the 1900+ Palomino Unlocked?

Or must one manually unlock it? My bro wants me to oc his chip a little when he saw I took my 1700 tbreda and pushed that baby to a 1900+

mine is locked and i've tried 4 times to unlock it without success.

All of the 1900+ Palomino's are locked.

Why don't you just o/c the palonimo by just increasing the fsb?

i don't want to increase the pci bus speed....my mobo doesn't have a pci lock
besides, it might corrupt my files

My 2100+ Palomino is Unlocked, but I think my Asus A7N8X Deluxe unlocked my CPU.

I've heard that you can unlock a Pal 1900+ with out messing with the chip if you have the Asus A7N8X board, not true?

I thought you need to do something to palominos and only t-breds are unlocked by mobo's.
