Is Taisol stock fan same as T-bird retail fan? Also Panaflow fans good?

Hey guys, I was wondering if the Taisol's stock fan is the same fan as the one on the retail T-bird heatsink and fan. I have the taisol heatsink but with a crazy loud 7k delta fan :|
If it is the same fan I would like to take the fan out of the retail t-bird heat sink and put it into the Taisol Heatsink. I have an Axia T-bird retail 266fsb 1 gigahertz running at 1466Mhz.

BTW I am using a Antec 830 and (1030 on my other rigs). I put in 4 Antec 80mm fans, which makes the system even louder. Is it a good idea to replace all 4 fans (2 front, 2 rear) with the quiet 80mm Panaflow fans?

Thanx for any suggestions! 🙂

Hi! In response to your question, I have the Taisol CGK742092 Heatsink, and its stock fan is indeed identical to the fan of a retail boxed AMD Athlon 266 Mhz FSB Athlon Processor Heatsink (both of them are low profile Delta units).

Last I heard Taisol actually supplies the heatsinks and fans for retail AMD cpus...

so its the identical fan for sure...

dew.

Whatever you do, don't chuck the sticker on the fan (usually off center contributing to fan balance problems) on a retail AMD Taisol. You will need it for any warrantee claims. A 26 CFM YS Tech fan on the stock AMD Taisol is a decent cooler.
